With almost a century of operation, Tepperman’s stands as a source of family pride. Originating in 1925 as a door-to-door furniture sales venture, Tepperman’s has nurtured enduring customer loyalty through its commitment to quality service. The company desired a responsive online storefront that would mirror its family-oriented values and community legacy, all while motivating visitors to explore its physical retail locations. Amidst the challenges of the Covid era, this website reconstruction became an imperative, accomplished within a demanding time frame.
Approach
After evaluating inventory levels, the decision was made to opt for a Magento 2 website due to its rapid delivery capabilities and superior accessibility. Leveraging customizable templates and incorporating the client’s updated branding, we embarked on the task of crafting a visually engaging site, even with the inclusion of extensive information. Our goal was to strike a harmonious balance between warm and primary colors. Furthermore, we aimed to deliver an exceptional user experience by integrating features such as a credit application page, hotspot mapping, promotional blocks, and light box functionalities.

Tepperman’s witnessed both a surge in web traffic and its overall quality. Since its launch, the website experienced a notable 13% rise in total web traffic, coupled with a significant 20% uptick in the number of returning visitors. Additionally, there was an impressive boost of 19.5% in mobile traffic.
